Mohanlal’s Marakkar to have a simultaneous release in 5 languages
Mohanlal starrer Magnum Opus Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham directed by Priyadarshan will hit the screens by next year March. Yesterday, in an event which celebrated the hat-trick box office success got by Aashirvad Cinemas, director Priyadarshan announced that this film will have a simultaneous release in 5 languages.
It will have Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi versions. It will also have a Chinese and Arab version which will release later. Priyadarshan had shown some visuals from the movie as well there which was just mind-blowing to say the very least. Whoever saw those visuals says that this film will be the new benchmark in Mollywood.
The post-production works of this film are only in its half-way stage and the makers are planning to release it in next summer as the biggest ever release in Mollywood history. The film boast of a spectacular star cast which includes actors from Tamil, Hindi, etc and the VFX works for this film now going on.
Last day, Aashirvad Cinemas owned by Antony Perumbavoor celebrated the success of films like Odiyan, Lucifer and Ittimani Made in China at Kochi. Along with that, they have announced a few projects like Lucifer 2 and 3 and also launched the lead actress and music director of Mohanlal’s directorial debut named Barros: The Guardian of Gama’s treasure.
