Mammootty to play the villain in Thani Oruvan 2?
Mollywood Star Mammootty is now busy with the filming Madhura Raja, which will be one of his big releases next year. His next release will be Oru Kuttanadan Blog and he is also filming for Yatra, the Telugu biopic of YSR. The biggest film in his career, titled Mamankam too is in its filming stage. Now, a rumor is doing its round in online media that he is going to play the villain in the sequel of super hit Tamil film Thani Oruvan.
Thani Oruvan was a super hit movie directed by Mohan Raja, starred by Jayam Ravi and Aravind Swamy. Now, they are planning the sequel of this movie and reports says that the team behind the movie wants to rope in Mammootty to play the antagonist opposite Jayam Ravi in the sequel.
Even though there is no official confirmation regarding this news, reports have been coming in that the official announcement may come on September 7th, as a birthday special surprise from Mammootty. Aravind Swamy played the villain named Sidharth Abhimanyu in the first part of this movie and it had won him a lot of appreciation from all over.
So, fans and film lovers are waiting to see if Mammootty had agreed to play the super villain in its sequel. Mammootty will also have a Tamil film for release in October. It will be the Ram directorial offbeat movie Peranbu, which had already won great appreciation in film festivals.
