Mammootty starrer Uncle to start rolling from September 24
Four years after the critically acclaimed movie Shutter, Joy Mathew is writing script for another Malayalam movie. The movie titled as Uncle has Mammootty playing the lead role. This movie will be directed by debutant Girish Damodar. The movie will start rolling from September 24.
Uncle will be on the lines of Joy Mathew’s first directional venture Shutter and the plot will be revolved around a family. The movie talks about an unusual situation faced by the family.
In its star casts, this Joy Mathew – Mammootty movie will have stars like CIA fame Karthika Muralidharan, Asha Sharath, Vinay Forrt, Suresh Krishna, Kailash, Sheela, Muthumani, and others.

The camera will be cranked by Veteran cinematographer N Alagappan.Uncle is bankrolling by Joy Mathew and Sajai Sebastian under the banner of Abra Films International in association with SJ Films.
Bijibal is composing the songs written by Rafeeq Ahamed. Music will be composed by Bijibal. The movie will be shot at various locations in Ooty and Kozhikode.
Meanwhile, Mammootty’s next release will be big budget mass Entertainer Masterpiece. The actor also has Tamil movie Pernmbu directed by Peranbu awaiting for release.
