Mammootty again as Police Officer for Shamdat directional investigation thriller Streetlights!
Cinematographer Shamdat Sainudeen is making his directional debut through a Mammootty movie in Mollywood. The movie titled as Streetlights is an investigation thriller. The movie has Mammootty playing the role of a Police Officer once again after the movie Kasaba.
Shamdat has earlier cranked camera for Mammootty movies like Pramani and Venicile Vyapari. He also handled the cinematography for big budget movies like Vishwaroopam and Uthama Villain, both starring Kamal Hassan.
In Streetlights, Mammootty will not have a heroine. Reportedly, the movie also stars Kattappanayile Rithwik Roshan fame Vishnu Unnikrishnan and his heroine Lijomol.
The movie will be shot at Kochi, Chennai, and Pollachi. The first schedule for this movie will begin this week at Kochi.
Meanwhile, Mammootty’s much-awaited movie The Great Father, directed by debutant Haneef Adeni, is gracing the big screen on March 30.

His movie Puthan Panam directed by Ranjith is also expected to release soon. His Tamil movie Peranmbu is also getting ready for a release. He just wrapped up the shooting of Shyam Dar’s untitled film.
