After Pathemari, Mammootty and Salim Ahamed to team up again?
If the reports coming in are to be believed, then a news is coming that Mega Star Mammootty is all set to join hands with Salim Ahamed again for a movie. Earlier, these two had given us two movies named Kunjananthante Kada and Pathemari. Even though Kunjananthante Kada become a box office failure, Pathemari which released in 2015 has become a critical and commercial success. It had won the best Malayalam movie award in National Film Awards as well.
Now a rumor is doing its round that Salim Ahamed is planning his next with Mammootty again and it will be a big budget period movie titled as Mappila Ghallasi.

The plot of this flick revolves around the Mappila Ghallasi in Calicut and reports says that this movie will start rolling after Mammootty completes Raja 2, which will be directed by Vysakh. Before the Vysakh movie, Mammootty will complete the movie directed by Shyam Dhar. Now Mammootty is finishing up the project named Puthan Panam by Ranjith. It will be the summer release of Mammootty this year.
Before that he will have his first Malayalam release this year and it will be The Great Father directed by debutant Haneef Adeni. It may hit the screens on this coming March 30th. He will have a Tamil release named Peranbu as well this year.
