My Mammootty movie is not Vamban, says Renjith!
Mega Star Mammootty is now finishing up his works for the Christmas release of him this year, titled The Great Father. This Family Thriller is directed by Haneef Adeni, a debutant and it has been bankrolled by August Cinemas, of which Prithviraj Sukumaran is also a co-owner. Kollywood artists like Sneha, Arya etc also playing important characters in this movie and the first look posters of the movie had already got great attention from Social Media Circles as well. The report says that the film will hit the screens on the 22nd of December this year. Earlier a news came that Mammootty will start his next film in this November and it will be a film named Vamban directed by Ranjith. Now, Ranjith comes out and told to media that he is directing a Mammootty movie but it is not Vamban.
Ranjith said that his movie with Mammootty in the lead is not titled yet. He is writing the screenplay of the movie and they will start the work of the film most probably in this November last. The report came earlier that it will be a mass film from Ranjith again. But now he says that all those reports are fake and his film with Mammootty will be a different kind of one from their previous movies.
