Mohanlal’s Lucifer creating big box office milestones outside Kerala
Mohanlal starrer big budget mass movie Lucifer is making history here in Kerala and now it has been creating some major milestones in outside Kerala market too. This flick had become the biggest grosser in Bangalore in the last 24 hours and it is a rare feat when it comes to Malayalam Cinema.
In the USA, it is going towards the 300K mark and become the highest grossing Malayalam movie in the USA crossing Njan Prakashan which grossed around 265K in its final run there. Lucifer took only 3 days to do it. In UAE as well, this flick had created the record. It had surpassed the weekend admits record set by Hollywood biggie Captain Marvel by surpassing 160K admits in just 2 day time and grossed over 11 crores from 2 days there.
The UAE/ GCC gross of this movie had gone past 17 crores in 2 day time and it is all set to break Pulimurugan which is the highest grossing South Indian Movie ever in Gulf countries. In other, overseas markets also this film is doing fabulous business. When it comes to rest of India market, the flick is creating records in northern circuits with a magnificent run in Mumbai, Delhi etc. In Tamil Nadu too, shows has been increasing day by day.
