Lucifer continuing its dream run at overseas; Unique record in the USA and UK
Lucifer, the second biggest Mollywood grosser of all-time had created some unique box office records in its overseas market as well. In the UK, it had grossed more than 1.5 crores in the first week and entered in the top 10 list of UK Box office.
It is the first Asian movie to do so in 2019 and the first ever Malayalam movie. In the USA, it had crossed the magical 500K mark, the first time in the history of Mollywood. It had already grossed over 3.5 crores from there. The second best in the USA was Njan Prakashan which had a final gross of 278K only.
Mohanlal is the one who had surpassed 50K, 100K, 150K, 250K, 300K, 350K, 400K, 450K and 500K marks in the USA for the first time in the history of Mollywood. In UAE/GCC, The flick had earned a gross more than 26 crores in its first week and will surpass the final gross of Pulimurugan Malayalam version very soon, which is the highest Mollywood grosser there.
In ROI market it had already surpassed the final gross of Pulimurugan Malayalam version, which was 6.5 crores. Lucifer will soon cross 7.5 crores from its ROI Market. In Kerala, the flick is moving to the 40 crore mark and it will surpass that mark by the end of this weekend.
