Lost 1 year from life and career due to Anjali Menon Cinema, says Pratap Pothen!
Last year, popular actor/director Pratap Pothen had announced that he is coming back to filmmaking by directing a film with Young Star Dulquar Salman in the lead and he said that the movie will be scripted by popular writer/director Anjali Menon as well. Then they roped in Ilayaraja to tune the music, Rajeev Menon as DOP and Dhansika as the female lead of the movie. Reports said that they had roped in popular actor Madhavan to play a cameo in it as well. They earlier announced that the flick has been titled as Love in Anjengo and it will start rolling from this year July. But the shoot did not start in July and some reports came about the conflict between director and cinematographer as well. Then some months later, Pratap Pothen officially declared that he is not doing the Dulquar Salman project as the screenplay written by Anjali Menon had nothing in it and she is not at all listened to the instructions given to her by the director while the scripting process was on.
Pratap Pothen said that due to Anjali Menon movie, he had lost 1 year of his life and career. He said that he told Dulquar that there is nothing in the screenplay written by Anjali Menon. Pratap Pothen said that he had no issues with Dulquar Salman and he is ready to do a movie with Dulquar anytime.
