Kayamkulam Kochunni got historic opening on day one; Worldwide collection details came out
Nivin Pauly – Mohanlal starrer movie Kayamkulam Kochunni had got off to a flier at the box office on day one. The flick had got great responses from all over the world and made an opening day record here in Kerala box office as well. Now, the worldwide collection of this movie on day one also has been revealed by the makers.
On its day 1, this gigantic flick had grossed around 9.54 crores approximately. The Kerala box office figure of this movie is 5.30 crores and in UAE/GCC countries too, the flick had got a terrific opening. From UAE alone, the film had grossed around 2.24 crores. From Rest of India markets and other GCC countries together, this flick had grossed around 2 crores as well. The UAE admit of this flick on day one is 32k.
This was one of the biggest openings ever in Mollywood as Mollywood movies don’t really release in Kerala and UAE/GCC market on the same day. Kayamkulam Kochunni is going great on its second day as well and extra shows are being added at many screens in Kerala.
Audience and critics are showering praises on this flick directed by Roshan Andrews and written by Bobby- Sanjay team. Even though Nivin Pauly playing the lead role in this movie, the audience responses say that Mohanlal who played an extended cameo as Ithikkara Pakki became the wow factor of this film.
