Jayaraj Apologetic about his Comments on Mohanlal and the success of Pulimurugan!
Popular Director Jayaraj is coming with a film named Veeram and it is the biggest budget Malayalam movie in the history of Mollywood till now. The film is made using 35 crore rupees budget and will hit the screens very soon as well. Bollywood actor Kunal Kapoor is playing the lead in it and the film is a period drama based on the play named Macbeth written by William Shakespeare. But recently, a comment made by Jayaraj in a media interview had created lots of controversies here in Mollywood and Social Media had really turned against him for that comment. In a recent media interview, Jayaraj said that the gigantic success getting by the Movie Pulimurugan is not because of the stardom of Mohanlal, but because of the technical quality of the movie. He said that his film Veeram will gross 100 crores in the box office as well. But people not at all liked his comment as everyone knows the fact that Mohanlal is the biggest reason behind the success of Pulimurugan. His exceptional star value and market are the reasons which made this film a gigantic success here.
Now, Jayaraj had come out through his Facebook page and said that he is apologetic about his words if it hurt Mohanlal and Film lovers all over the world. He said that Mohanlal is one of the best in the world and Pulimurugan shows his brilliance as an actor and the dedication of him as a professional. He said that what he really meant through his comment was, the technical quality of the film too played a part in the huge initial pull got by Pulimurugan.
