I have no issues with Anjali Menon, but with her screenplay, says Pratap Pothen!
It was a big news when actor/director Pratap Pothen had announced that he is pulling out from the Dulquer Salman movie named Love in Anjengo, which was supposed to be directed by him. Pratap Pothen said that he is not at all convinced about the screenplay by Anjali Menon who had written the screenplay for the movie and he can’t do a movie which is not convincing for him. He had done that mistake in the past with movie like Makudam and can’t do it again in this age of 64. He also said that he had no issues with Anjali Menon, but not liked her screenplay which she wrote for this movie.
He said that he had given specific directions to her before she starts writing the screenplay of this movie. But she not followed that and even included a Tsunami in the climax portion of the story. When a genius like Anjali Menon writes such a terrible screenplay, you can’t stand by that, says Pratap Pothen. The movie was planned to start in this year July and people like Ilaya Raja, Rajeev Menon etc were roped in to do the music and DOP of this flick. Artists like Dhansika, Madhavan etc also was roped in to play important roles in this shelved project.
