Asif to do back to back movies with debutant directors!
Young Mollywood Star Asif Ali seems to be the favorite of debutant film makers in Mollywood now. He had signed some interesting projects from debutants and will do back to back films with them. Asif Ali had made a grand comeback this year through the super success of Anuraga Karikkin Vellam directed by a debutant named Khalid Rahman which hit the screens in this July. After that, he had started the shoot of his upcoming release named Kavi Udheshichathu, directed by debutants Thomas Kutty and Liju Thomas together. Apart from that, he had committed two more projects from debutant film makers as well.
One will be directed by Arouz Irfan who shot to fame as a writer through the movie named IDI starred by Jayasurya. Arouz Irfan had written the screenplay of IDI in association with Sajid Yahiya, who directed IDI. But this Arouz Irfan- Asif Ali project will be scripted by Najim Koya and the shoot will start by early next year, says the director.
The next project committed by Asif Ali is Thrishivaperoor Cliptham, which will be directed by debutant Ratheesh Kumar. Aparna Balamurali will play the female lead in this movie, which will be a complete entertainer, says Ratheesh Kumar. This movie will start rolling from September and it will be written by PS Rafeeq who had written movie like Amen.
