This gangster comedy is directed by Gokul, who made movies like Rowthiram, Idharkuthane Aasaipattai Balakumara, and Kashmora. The lead actor Vijay Sethupathi himself along with Arun Pandian, Dr. K. Ganesh and R. M. Rajesh Kumar under the banner of Vijay Sethupathi Productions bankrolled Junga. The movie also stars Sayyeshaa, Madonna Sebastian, Yogi Babu, and Saranya Ponvannan.
