Mani Ratnam Next Movie: A multi-star movie with some South India biggies on cards?
Reports suggest that master director Mani Ratnam is coming up with a multi-star with four leading heroes from South. If the reports coming in are true, then we will see Vijay Sethupathi, Fahadh Faasil, Dulquer Salmaan, and Arvind Swamy together in next Mani Ratnam movie.
Although there is no official confirmation regarding the cast of this movie, reportingly Vijay Sethupathi and Mani Ratnam met recently for a discussion. No confirmation that this discussion was for this new movie. Now, we heard the names of other actors along with Vijay for Mani Ratnam’s next.
Sources say that this movie is going to be a bilingual project in Malayalam and Tamil. This movie is said to be produced by Madras Talkies and will have A R Rahman handling the music department. Santhosh Sivan will crank the camera for this movie. We heard that an official announcement will be made soon.
Meanwhile, Fahadh Faasil and Vijay Sethupathi are already sharing screen space in Thiagarajan Kumararaja’s directorial venture titled Aneethi Kathaigal. Both these actors haven’t yet acted in a Mani Ratnam movie.
Mani Ratnam already made movies with Arvind Swamy and Dulquer Salmaan. It was Mani Ratnam who introduced Arvind Swamy through the movie titled Thalapathy. Then the duo later collaborated in movies like Roja, Bombay, Alaipayuthe, and Kadal.
It was in 2015 Tamil movie OK Kanmani Dulquer Salmaan teamed with Mani Ratnam.
