1971 Beyond Borders is the latest talk in Mollywood. The war drama directed by Major Ravi is the fourth installment in Major Mahadevan series. The movie has Mohanlal playing the lead role. Earlier, promo videos including teasers, trailers, and video songs were released online. As all these promo videos fetched great appreciation from critics, expectations for this Mohanlal starrer movie increased sky high.

Now, for the first time in the history of Malayalam Cinema, the makers released a VR Trailer reaction for 1971 Beyond Borders Trailer.

Maybe, this is the first time in the world a film industry is bringing a novel VR experience, that makes the viewers to sit down with the movie’s lead actor and director to watch the trailer in Virtual reality.

Sharing the video on Facebook, Mohanlal wrote, “Join me and Major Ravi ​ in Virtual Reality as we watch the trailer of 1971 Beyond Borders. Thanks VR Studios​ for creating this unique VR experience. The VR video has both Mohanlal and Major Ravi viewing the trailer in a room and reacting to the trailer. With the help of VR headsets, the viewers can enjoy the trailer and will feel like they are watching the trailer with none other than Mohanlal and Major Ravi.

Meanwhile, the movie is getting ready for a grand release. Many expect that the movie will get a record release all over India. The movie will hit the screens on April 7.
