‘Two Countries’ team joining for another project; Dileep – Shafi to do a movie this year?
If the reports coming in are true, then popular actor Dileep will play the lead in next movie directed by Shafi. It will be scripted by Rafi and this project will be bankrolled by Gokulam Gopalan. Dileep, Shafi, and Rafi came together previously for the blockbuster movie named Two Countries in 2015.
Dileep- Shafi team had given us great box office successes like Kalyanaraman and Marykkundoru Kunjadu before Two countries. Rafi too had worked as a director and writer in many super hit movies. Dileep’s previous release named Kammara Sambhavam was bombed at box office and it was bankrolled by Gokulam Gopalan under the banner of Sree Gokulam Movies.
Reports say that this upcoming Dileep – Shafi movie will be a compensation project for Gokulam Gopalan, as Kammara Sambhavam failed to ring the money bells at the box office. Dileep is now doing the movie named Professor Dinkan directing by Ramachandra Babu. He had also committed a project named Keshu Ee Veedinte Nathan, which will be directed by Nadirsha.
Shafi is now finishing up the works for his upcoming release named Oru Bomb Kadha in which Bibin George and Prayaga Martin playing the lead. Let’s hope that the official announcement of Dileep – Shafi movie will come soon.
