Tovino Thomas to play the lead in August Cinemas’s next
August Cinema seems to be in a hurry, as they are announcing projects every month now. They had announced a project named Kali which will mark the directorial debut of Shankar Ramakrishnan. Then they announced a big budget movie named Kunjali Marikkar with Mega Star Mammootty in the lead. Now, the latest is with Tovino Thomas in the lead and it will be directed by a newcomer named Fellini.
The flick has been titled as Theevandi and it has been written by Vini Vishwa Lal. He had written the screenplay of Koothara, in which Tovino played the lead along with Sunny Wayne and Bharath. The title poster of the movie Theevandi was revealed last day. The film will start rolling from next year.
Tovino Thomas is now finishing up Maradona directing by Vishnu Narayanan and it will do a cameo in Kamal directorial Aami. Tovino’s next release will be Mayanadhi directed by Ashiq Abu and it will grace the screens in this Christmas season.
Later, his Tamil- Malayalam bilingual named Abhiyude Kadha Anuvinteyum directed by BR Vijaya Lakshmi will also grace the screens. Tovino had committed movies like Maari 2 in Tamil, Luca, Basil- Joseph- Mammootty movie etc in Malayalam. In Maari 2, Dhanush is playing the lead and Tovino will be seen as Villain.
