Thanneermathan Dinangal Review: A trip down to memory lane through love, fun, and happiness
Thanneermathan Dinangal, directed by a debutant named Gireesh AD, graced the big screens last day. Director Gireesh himself wrote this flick in association with Dinoy Paulose. This movie has been bankrolled by popular Cinematographer Jomon T John, Editor Shameer Muhammad, and Shebin Bucker. Vineeth Sreenivasan, Mathew Thomas, and Anashwara play the lead roles in this movie and the Trailer of the flick had generated a great level of Anticipation among the audience almost a month before its release.
The plot of this flick revolves around a Plus Two students named Jaison and his three main problems. He has a love interest named Keerthi who is his classmate. But then comes a teacher named Ravi Padmanabhan into his life, who becomes highly popular in the whole school within a short time. The flick shows what happens in his love life and also in his relationship with Ravi.
Debutant Gireesh had done a fabulous job by presenting the school life with all its fun, innocence and joy. It was a joy to watch the plot developing on the screen and the fabulous screenplay by Gireesh and Dinoy became the backbone of this movie. The dialogues were hilarious and so natural. There is life in every situation in the plot and everyone can relate to it if he or she ever went to school. The film is a great package of fun, romance and it also has elements that will excite you. The visual language given to it by Gireesh was just superb, to say the least.
Performances from all the artists were fantastic. Vineeth Sreenivasan was sizzling as Ravi Padmanabhan and this is one of the best performances in his career. He was very much energetic and his screen presence was just great. Mathew Thomas had already shown us his talent through Kumbalangi Nights and once again he showed as that he is a great actor. His portrayal of Jaison became the major highlight of this flick. Anashwara who played Keerthy looked cute in her looks and performance. Others like Irshad, Shabareesh Varma, and child artists also did an amazing job.
The beautiful visuals captured by Jomon T John and Vinod Illampilly heightens the mood of this flick and connected it with the heart of the audience. Music by Justin Varghese also played a crucial role in making this film a beautiful one. Shameer Muhammad’s cuts had given a smooth pace to the film.
Overall, Thanneermathan Dinangal is a lovable feel-good entertainer which will give you a lot to laugh. It will also take you to trip down memory lane by making you remember your school days for sure.
