Kerala Box Office: Solo first day Kerala collection report
Dulquer Salmaan starrer Solo, which was released on this Thursday, emerged as the actor’s career-best opener at Kerala Box Office.
This Bejoy Nambiar directional movie is an anthology of 4 different stories and in all those 4 stories Dulquer Salmaan played the lead characters.
He played Shekhar, Trilok, Shiva and Rudra representing four elements of nature Water, Wind, Fire, and Earth. Solo has been the biggest Malayalam release till now here in Kerala as they had released it in 225 screens here. But the number of shows were less as it shared shows with Ramaleela and Parava in many screens.

Now, the first- day collection report of this movie has arrived. Solo had become the biggest opener in Dulquer Salmaan’s career till now beating the first- day collection of CIA, which grossed over 3 crores on Day 1. As per trade reports, Solo has grossed around 3.36 crores on the releasing day at the Kerala Box Office.
It is an experimental movie from Bejoy Nambiar and it had created mixed opinion among the audience. The audience here in Kerala not usually gives thumbs up to anthology movies and the same thing is happening with Solo as well.
So, it seems that after a great initial day, Solo will eventually drop down. It is a big budget movie and its Tamil version also in trouble as the film only got one day run in Tamil Nadu due to theater strike there.
