Shafi, Sachy, and Najim Koya together had written the screenplay and dialogues for this movie and it has been made as a comedy thriller. Global United Media had produced this movie and the female lead characters in this flick were played by Srinda and Mia George.

The positive point of this movie is mainly the performances of artists. Biju Menon had done a terrific job once again. With his great comedy timing and dialogue delivery style, he just rocked as Sherlock Toms. Then, the pair of Kottayam Nazeer and Haarish Kanaran, who played a Police officer and his subordinate respectively, made the audience laugh their heart out. Suresh Krishna’s fire force officer and Kalabhavan Shajon’s character also stole the show with their performances. Dialogues were hilarious and the caliber of Shafi to create situation comedies made it an engaging Film. Srinda was terrific in this movie as Rekha Toms and Mia George too did her part well, even though she did not have much to do in this flick.
On the negative side, we can say that the screenplay was a bit shabby as it lacked the desired punch except the last 15 to 20 minutes, Even though the climax was a really good one, it seems that they only cared about creating that climax and not about the first two hours of the movie. Some comedy sequences were too weak as it just passed without creating an impact on the audience. That really pulled the film down from a smooth pace at which it was going.Music was really good and it was composed by Bijipal. Visuals from Alby was also good. Editing was not at the best as the film slowed down at many places even after they had tried to create so many interesting and comical situations. The first half was an average one and the second half is slightly a better one thanks largely to the last 15 minutes. The caliber of Shafi was consistent at that portion of the movie and in other parts, it was not that steady as we may feel that he had lost his grip on the narration at places.

In total, Sherlock Toms is a one-time watchable flick which will satisfy you if you go without the burden of great expectations. It is an engaging movie and will attract the family audience for sure as it is a decent comedy thriller.
