Shafi – Rafi team to unite again for a Mammootty movie and it will be a sequel?
If the reports coming in are to be believed, then the hitmakers Shafi and Rafi team will unite again for a movie starring Mega Star Mammootty. It was the movie named Two Countries starred by Dileep was their previous association. Two countries was a blockbuster success. Shafi and Rafi had united before for a Mammootty movie and it was in 2007. The movie named Mayavi was scripted by Rafi- Mecartin team and directed by Shafi. It was a blockbuster hit and second biggest grosser of 2007, after Mohanlal’s Hallo. Hallo was directed by Rafi- Mecartin team.
Reports coming in from the industry say that Rafi will start writing the screenplay for this upcoming Shafi – Mammootty project, once the work for his upcoming movie named Professor Dinkan has been finished. Ramachandra Babu is directing this movie with Dileep in the lead.
Reports also suggest that this upcoming Shafi- Rafi- Mammootty flick will be a sequel to one of the previous hits delivered by Mammootty- Shafi team. They had given us super success like Thommanum Makkalum and Mayavi. So, there is a chance that Shafi may come up with the sequel of Mayavi, which was co-written by Rafi. Thommanum Makkalum was written by Benny P Nayarambalam.
