Shafi – Biju Menon Movie titled as Sherlock Toms!
After the big success of Dileep starrer movie named Two Countries, director Shafi is all set to start his next venture and it will have popular actor Biju Menon in the lead. This movie has been titled as Sherlock Toms and it will be produced by Global United Media who had produced Kamattipadam and distributed Baahubali here in Kerala.
Najeem Koya had written the story of this movie and the dialogues has been written by Sachi. The screenplay of this flick has been written by Shafi, Sachi, and Najeem Koya together. The filming will start from this April and they are planning it as an Onam release this year.
Biju Menon had earlier played the lead in Shafi directorial named Merikkundoru Kunjadu with Dileep and also played the lead in 101 Weddings with Kunchacko Boban and Jayasurya. While Merikkundoru Kunjadu was a super success at box office, 101 weddings bombed. Biju Menon’s previous release here in Mollywood was Swarnakkaduva, which was not received well by the audience here.
Biju Menon’s next release will be Rakshadhikari Baiju directed by Ranjan Pramod and it will hit the screens in this April. He is now finishing up his works in the movie named Lakshyam directed by debutant Ansar Khan and scripted by Jeethu Joseph. Indrajith also playing the lead character in this movie.
