Randamoozham in trouble again; MT Vasudevan Nair continues with his stand
Randamoozham, the project which has been announced as the biggest motion picture in Asia, landed in trouble last month. MT Vasudevan Nair, the legendary literary figure who had written the screenplay of this magnum opus filed a case in Calicut Munsiff Court to get back his screenplay from director Shrikumar Menon, who is all set to direct this project.
Then, there have been some reports that the problems will be sorted with the help of a mediator as Shrikumar Menon informed the court that he wants the court to appoint a mediator in this issue. But MT Vasudevan Nair’s advocate informed the court last day that his client doesn’t want any mediator in this case and will continue with his stand to get the screenplay back.
MT Vasudevan Nair filed the case sighting the reason of delay in starting the project. He said that it has been almost 4 years since he had given the screenplay to Shrikumar Menon, but still, there was no info regarding the starting of this project. In that situation, he did not have any trust in the director and want his screenplay back from Shrikumar Menon.
MT said that if any other wants to make the film based his screenplay, he will consider giving the screenplay to them. He demands three things only regarding this project. Mohanlal should play the lead role, the film has to be made in 2 parts and there will not be any correction in the screenplay. Now the court postponed the case to November 13th and we have to wait a week more to see the clear picture.
