Ranam trailer to be released by Mohanlal tomorrow
Ranam, the much-awaited movie of this season starring Prithviraj Sukumaran in lead role, had postponed its release date several times, from this year April. Now, it has got a release date and the film will grace the screens on 6th September this year. The trailer of this film will be released tomorrow and it will be released by none other the Complete Actor of Indian Cinema, Mr. Mohanlal.
The trailer will be published through the official Facebook page of Mohanlal, at 6 PM tomorrow. The theme song and the sneak peaks of this film have got a great response from all over. Debutant Nirmala Sahadev had directed this movie and most part of this film has been shot at the United States of America.
The title of this film was Detroit Crossing earlier and later they changed it to Ranam. Apart from Prithviraj Sukumaran, artists like Rahman, Nandhu, Ashwin Kumar, Isha Talwar etc too playing important characters in this crime drama. The director himself had written this movie and he had earlier written the screenplay of Nivin Pauly starrer Shyama Prasad movie named Hey Jude.
Anand Payyanur, Rani, and Lawson Biju had bankrolled this movie under the banners named Yes Cinema and Lawson Entertainments. Jakes Bejoy is the music director of this movie and the DOP of this flick was Jigme Tenzing.
