Rakshadhikari Baiju was written keeping Mohanlal in mind, says Ranjan Pramod!
Rakshadhikari Baiju Oppu starred by Biju Menon and directed by Ranjan Pramod had become a box office hit this year and Biju Menon had got a great appreciation for his performance in it as well. It was written by Ranjan Pramod and it was his 3rd directorial venture too after Photographer starred by Mohanlal and Rose Guitarinaal starred by some newcomers. But Rakshadhikari Baiju Oppu was his first box office hit as a director. In a recent media interview, Ranjan Pramod said that he had started writing this movie, keeping Mohanlal in mind to play the title character of Baiju.
But Ranjan knows that because of the busy schedule of Mohanlal, who is the most sought after actor in M-Town, this project will not happen very soon. Ranjan has to release this movie this year itself. When he thought about replacing Mohanlal, the thought of Biju Menon comes to his mind and he wrote the movie accordingly. He said that Biju Menon had made it look perfect with his superb performance and he had done an amazing job as Baiju. In fact, his performance which becomes the backbone of this movie.
Ranjan Pramod is a popular writer who had scripted many super successful films in Mollywood like Meesha Madhavan, Naran, Achuvinte Amma, Manassinakkare and Ennum Eppozhum.
