Rahman reveals the inside story of Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru!
The much anticipated Tamil movie named Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru (D16) is all set to hit the screens in Kerala on March 10th. This film had become a trend in Tamil Nadu and great reviews about this film had reached Kerala as well which attracted the film lovers here a lot.
Many people here already watched this movie through online sources. But the demand for a theatrical release of this movie was so huge that, at last, a team had come forward to distribute this movie here in Kerala. It is a crime thriller which was directed by a 21-year-old youngster named Karthick Naren.
Popular Malayalam Actor Rahman played the lead in this movie and he had revealed some inside stories related to this movie, in a Media interaction last day.
Rahman said that he would like to call this movie as the best he had done in his career. He said that he is very proud to be a part of this movie. The film had a very young crew and he appreciated them for the risk they had taken by making him the lead in it and also for the courage they had shown to complete the film and release it.
He said that, even though he said no to them when they came to him with this project at first, they forced him and made him agree to do this flick as they only wanted him to play the lead in it. Rahman added that Karthick Naren is one of the best filmmakers he had worked with till now as well.
Rahman explained why the release of the film got delayed here in Kerala. They wanted to release the film here much earlier. But the theater strike and a flurry of other releases after the strike delayed the release of Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru here. This flick will release in an around 50 screens here in Kerala.
