Pulimurugan becomes the Highest South Indian Grosser in New Zealand!
Mohanlal starrer Pulimurugan is creating records one after the other and it is now making these records not only in domestic Market but also in overseas market. It had made a record in UAE/GCC market in terms of the number of shows there as it had surpassed biggies like Sultan and Kabali there and we mentioned about that in our earlier news. Now, the film had set a unique record in New Zealand as well. Distributors from New Zealand informed that the film had become the highest South Indian grosser in New Zealand and that is historical for a Malayalam Movie. The report says that Pulimurugan had surpassed the record set there by movies like Vijay’s Theri and Vikram’s I.

The actual figures are not yet out and it is expected to come soon and maybe after this weekend. The film had got the biggest release there which a South Indian movie had got there till now. It equaled Vijay’s Theri show count there on its first day and later extra shows were added due to heavy rush. It got an advance booking which is way better than Hollywood movies like Doctor Strange and The Accountant as well.
By the time it finishes its run there, there may be a chance that it can come close to the biggest ever Indian grosser at New Zealand.
