Oppam 50 Days Kerala Collection Report!
Mohanlal starrer movie Oppam, written and directed by master director Priyadarshan, had released all over on the last Onam season. It hit the screens on the 8th of September to be precise and now completed 50 days here in Kerala. It was produced by Antony Perumbavoor under the banner of Ashirvad Cinemas and become one of the biggest ever box office successes in Mollywood as well. It had become the 5th Mollywood movie to cross 50 crore mark from its worldwide run in the box office as well and made its place in the list of highest grossing films in Mollywood. Now, it had completed 50 golden days here and we got the official Kerala Collection report of the movie. From 50 days run here, Oppam had grossed 40.10 crores from the screens here.
The Net figure of the movie is 32. 35 crore (after excluding the tax from the total Kerala gross) and the share earned by the film from Kerala is 17.25 crores approximately. The film is made using a budget of 6.80 crores including print and publicity and earned a profit close to 11 crores from its theater run in Kerala alone, from 50 days. It had earned a share second only to Pulimurugan from Kerala and in that sense, Oppam is the second biggest success in Mollywood. The worldwide gross of the movie had crossed 56 crores as well.
