Odiyan creates history; This Mohanlal starrer enters 100 crore club even before its release!
Mohanlal starrer Odiyan had created history and just took Mollywood to a whole new level with its pre-release business. The flick had made a place in 100 crore club even before its release as its pre-release business had touched magical figure 3 days before its release.
Director Shrikumar Menon had announced the happy news officially and he said that this figure is the combined figure Odiyan’s rights and pre-release sales. Now Odiyan had become the 3rd South Indian movie to touch 100 crore mark before its release. 2.0 and Baahubali are the first two movies. Odiyan is the 11th in Indian cinema when it comes to movies that had done 100 crores pre-release business.

The flick has been getting phenomenal advance booking all over the world and it has been releasing in 35 countries. The film will be released in 3 languages as well, The Tamil and Telugu versions of this film will be released on December 14, along with its Malayalam version.

Antony Perumbavoor had bankrolled the project using a budget over 40 crores. Harikrishnan had written the screenplay of this movie, which has been made as a fantasy thriller.
