Mohanlal’s Odiyan look shared by actor Jayasurya; See Odiyan Location Pictures
Odiyan is the biggest budget movie in Mollywood, which had started rolling a few days back at Varanasi. Complete Actor Mohanlal is playing the lead in it and it has been directing by V A Shrikumar Menon. National award winning writer Harikrishnan had written the screenplay of this movie which has been bankrolling by Antony Perumbavoor under the banner of Ashirvad Cinemas.
Mohanlal had joined the set of Odiyan last day and the first look of Mohanlal from the movie has been out. It had come out through the official Facebook page of popular actor Jayasurya when he posted a picture with Mohanlal from Kashi.
Mohanlal is sporting heavy beard with a twirled mustache and there was a saffron color piece of cloth covered his head as well.
Mohanlal is playing the character named Odiyan Manickyan in this movie, who is the last member of a tribe named Odiyans in this world. Odiyans have some super natural powers with them which they acquire through black magic. As per reports, Mohanlal will sport 7 getups in this movie.
It is a fantasy thriller which will have great importance to VFX and also for action sequences. Shaji Kumar is cranking the camera for this movie and Peter Hein is the fight master. Manju Warrier will play the female lead and Prakash Raj will be there as well playing the villain. There may be an actor from Bollywood as well in it.
Odiyan will reach on screens in next year March and will be the biggest ever release in Malayalam Cinema. It will get around 500 screens in Kerala alone.
