Nivin Pauly starrer Richie’s teaser set a Non-Rajinikanth record in Kollywood!
Teaser of Richie, the first straight Tamil movie of actor Nivin Pauly in lead, was released last day. The teaser got a great reception from viewers and set teaser records in Kollywood. The teaser now emerged as most viewed Tamil teaser in 24 hours time after Rajinikanth’s Kabali.
The 54-second teaser of Richie was viewed by 4.2 million people on Facebook. Kabali holds the record as its teaser got 5 million views in 24 hours time. Surya’s Singam 3 and Vijay’s Bairavaa hold the 3rd and 4th position with 4 million and 2.7 million views respectively. Interestingly, all other teasers were YouTube release while Richie teaser was released via Facebook.
Richie is the official Tamil remake of Kannada superhit movie Ulidavaru Kandanthe . In the teaser, Nivin is sporting a beard look similar to his blockbuster Malayalam movie Premam.
The movie is directed by Gautham Ramachandran. The star cast of the movie includes Prakash Raj, Natarajan Subramaniam, Ashok Selvan, Shraddha Srinath, Lakshmi Priyaa Chandramouli and others. The movie will hit the big screens onMay 12.
Meanwhile, Nivin Pauly has big budget Malayalam movies like Moothon directed by Geethu Mohandas and Roshan Andrews directional Kayamkulam Kochunni in his hands.
