Nivin Pauly, the Young Mollywood star is continuing his dominance over box office. He had only two releases till now in Mollywood this year and both films completed 100 days run and become blockbuster hits. Abrid Shine directorial movie named Action Hero Biju and Vineeth Sreenivasan directorial movie named Jacobinte Swarga Rajyam are the movie which graced the screens here starring Nivin Pauly this year. Jacobinte Swarga Rajyam had become the highest grossing film here in Kerala this year and Action Hero Biju had become the highest grosser of Mollywood this year from worldwide run.
Last year too he had two blockbusters out of the 3 films released starring him. Oru Vadakkan Selfie directed by debutant G Prajith and Premam by Alphons Puthran were those blockbusters. Premam had become the second biggest grosser in Mollywood history right behind Mohanlal starrer movie Drishyam. He had a release named Ivide last year, but Prithvi Raj played the lead in it. It was directed by Shyama Prasad and ended up as a box office disaster. But, all the 4 films in which he played hero, had completed 100 days run here in Kerala and all of them got the blockbuster status.
