Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol creating new milestones in the overseas market too!
Mohanlal starrer movie Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol which released on the 20th January this year had already become the first blockbuster of this year in Mollywood. This Jibu Jacob directorial had already grossed over 30 crores from Kerala and created some new box office records here as well. Now, it is creating new milestones at the overseas market as well.
The film had released is US two weeks back and it had released in the UK one week ago. The UAE/GCC release was also in last week. Now, PJ Entertainments who had distributed the movie in US and UK officially declared it as a blockbuster success there and they have informed through their official Facebook page that Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol had made a record opening at US and UK market.
Now, it is the second best opener at UK and US for Malayalam Cinema, right behind Mohanlal starrer Pulimurugan.

In Ireland and places like Italy, it had made a bigger opening than Pulimurugan as well. In UAE/GCC market, Munthirivallikal Thalirkkumbol had become the top movie in box office in its first weekend, leaving behind all Hollywood and Bollywood movies running there now.
Huge figures are on its way to this movie from overseas market. From US and UK alone, it had now grossed above 1.30 crores and it is just phenomenal for a feel-good family movie.
