Mohanlal’s Villain to clash with Vijay’s Mersal?
If the reports coming in are to be believed, then we are going to witness an epic clash in box office in this coming Diwali season here in Mollywood. But it will not be between two Malayalam movies, but between a Malayalam movie and Tamil movie.
Movies of biggest stars from two different industries are going to lock horn in Kerala box office. We are talking about Mohanlal’ Villain and Vijay’s Mersal.
Complete Actor Mohanlal’s movie named Villain written and directed by B Unnikrishnan is all set to hit the screens in this Diwali season. It will be released in Malayalam, Tamil, and Telugu languages at the same time and its trailer will be out in this coming September.
The audio of Villain will be launched soon and the trailer may be released in theaters with the Onam release of Mohanlal this year, named Velipadinte Pusthakam.
The official release date of the movie is not yet announced, but reports suggest that it will be released on October 18th.
Vijay’s upcoming movie Mersal directed by Atlee will be a Diwali release this year as well. The audio of this movie will be launched on August 21st and its teaser will be out in this coming September.
Both these movies will be looking for record release here in Kerala and we have to wait till Diwali this year to know what happens at the box office if this epic clash happens.
