The Complete Actor Mohanlal, who is regarded as the finest actor our country had ever produced is already the biggest star when it comes to Mollywood. He is the undisputed ruler of Malayalam Cinema for years and now the star is looking forward to expand his market all over South India. In Tamil and Kannada, he had already done it with some recent films. In Tamil, Mohanlal was already popular through films like Iruvar by Mani Ratnam and Unnai Pol Oruvan in which he shared screen space with Kamal Hasan. But his market there went high when he had acted along with Ilaya Thalapathy Vijay in a film named Jilla which had become a success there irrespective of mixed reviews. He had done an extended cameo in Kannada film named Mythri last year, which had won great critical appreciation and commercial success there. Kannada Super Star Puneet Raj Kumar played the lead in it and that film had really given great number of followers there for Mohanlal.
Now Mohanlal has done two Telugu films as well named Manamantha and Janata Garage. Both films are getting ready for release. One is directed by the national award winning Film Maker Chandrashekar Yeleti and the other is by the hit maker Koratala Siva. Manamantha will be a class film in which Mohanlal plays the lead and Janata Garage is a mass movie in which he shares screen space with Tollywood Super Star Jr. NTR. Both these films will give him a market there which no other star from Mollywood can never dream of. Mohanlal is clearly all set to rule South India and all is coming nice and well for him.
