Mohanlal’s Marakkar set a new history in Mollywood months before its release
Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham directed by Priyadarshan is the most- anticipated movie in Mollywood right now. This gigantic project starring The Complete Actor Mohanlal is in its post-production stage right now and it may get a release date by the end of this year. But even months before its release, the flick had set a new record here in Mollywood.
The overseas distribution rights of this movie have been bought for a record amount by Phars. As per reports, they had bought the overseas distribution rights of this multi-lingual movie by giving a whopping 15 crores. They are the ones who bought the rights of Lucifer for a record amount as well and Lucifer had got the biggest overseas release for a Mollywood movie.
Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham has been bankrolled by Antony Perumbavoor in association with Dr. C J Roy and Santhosh T Kuruvila under their banners named Ashirvad Cinemas, Confident Group, and Moonshot Entertainments. It has been made using a whopping budget of 100 crores and it has a lot of popular stars from different languages in its star cast.
Sunil Shetty, Arjun Sarja, Prabhu, Pranav Mohanlal, Keerthi Suresh, Manju Waryar, Kalyani Priyadarshan, Siddique, Nedumudi Venu, Innocent, Baburaj, Ganesh Kumar, Ashok Selvan, Santhosh Keezhattoor, Hareesh Peradi, etc will be seen playing important characters in this film.
