Mammootty’s Charity Launches ‘Vidyamrutham 4’ to Empower 250 Underprivileged Students

Malayalam superstar Mammootty’s charity, Care & Share International, launched a new phase of their Vidyamrutham project. This initiative aims to empower 250 academically gifted students from underprivileged backgrounds. The project collaborates with MGM Institutions to provide scholarships for engineering, pharmacy and other courses across various campuses in Kerala.

Swami Nandatmajananda, chief editor of Prabuddha Kerala, praised the project at the launch ceremony. He highlighted the importance of such initiatives in promoting community spirit and helping those in need. Mammootty echoed this sentiment, stating that Vidyamrutham aims to remove financial barriers and help students achieve their dreams.

The project targets students facing various challenges. This includes those from economically disadvantaged backgrounds, those who lost a parent, or those from tribal areas. Care & Share International and MGM Group signed a formal agreement to solidify this partnership.

MGM Group Chairman, Dr. Geevarghese Yohannan, expressed his pride in collaborating with Care & Share. He highlighted MGM’s commitment to education through their network of institutions across Kerala. The ceremony was attended by dignitaries from both organizations, including Nitin Chiratilat from Care & Share and Vinod Thomas IPS from MGM Institutions.
