Mega Star Mammootty may be a lucky charm for many actresses here in Mollywood or in that case in Kollywood. But the ones made their debut as Mammootty’s heroines tasted failure here, unfortunately.
Katrina Kaif, the super heroine from Bollywood had made her debut here in Mollywood through the movie named Balram Vs Tharadas directed by IV Sasi. Mammootty was played the male lead in it and the flick was a box office disaster. Another Bollywood actress named Namritha Shirodkar had made her debut through the Mammootty movie named Ezhupunna Tharakan. It was also a box office failure. Bollywood Actress Tapsee Pannu had made her debut in Malayalam movie Doubles which had Mammootty in the lead role. It was also a big box failure of the year 2011. The latest in this list is Huma Qureshi. The movie White through which Huma is made her debut in Mollywood has become one of the biggest disasters ever in Malayalam Cinema history and Mammootty played the male lead in this movie too, unfortunately.
