Mammootty to create a new record in Indian Cinema; CBI 5 will start rolling soon
If the reports coming in are to be believed, then the 5th part of Oru CBI Diary Kurippu will start rolling very soon. It may start filming in summer next year as per the latest reports and if the project happens, then Mammootty will create a new record in Indian Cinema.
It will be for the first time in India that the 5th part of a movie is coming and Mammootty will become the only hero in India who will play the lead in all the 5 parts of a series. K Madhu will direct this movie based on the screenplay written by S N Swamy. They said that the screenplay is ready and they now only need the consent of Mammootty to start the shoot.
The first part of the CBI series was Oru CBI Diary Kurippu which was a super hit at box office. Then came the second part named Jagratha, which unfortunately become a box office flop. Then years later, the third part of the series titled Sethurama Iyer CBI released and tasted super success. In 2005, the 4th part titled Nerariyan CBI released and it tasted failure at the box office.
Now, the team is planning to set the things right in the box-office with the 5th part of the movie. There will be a lot of changes in its star cast when it comes to the 5th part, say sources from the industry.
