The makers of the highly-anticipated film Malaikottai Vaaliban have dropped the video for their first single, “Punnara Kattile Poovanatthil.” The slow-paced visuals of the night capture the essence of love, featuring the talented Katha Nandi, known for her role in “Thalaikoothal,” and Manoj Moses, the title winner of Dance VS Dance Season 2, as the lovers in the spotlight.
In this enchanting video, the on-screen chemistry between Nandi and Moses unfolds a poetic exchange of love set against a beautiful musical backdrop. Towards the end, the audience is treated to glimpses of the legendary Mohanlal, the lead actor of the film.
The soulful “Punnara Kattile Poovanatthil” is brought to life by the melodic voices of Shreekumar Vakkiyil and Abhaya Hiranmayi. The lyrics, penned by P.S Rafeeque, beautifully complement the music directed, arranged, and programmed by Prashant Pillai. The lyrics of the song describe a poetic exchange between a man and a woman, expressing their love through metaphors of nature and endearing terms.
Under the direction of Lijo Jose Pellissery, the film boasts a stellar cast including Mohanlal, Sonalee Kulkarni, Hareesh Peradi, and more. Shibu Baby John, Achu Baby John, Vikram Mehra, Siddharth Anand Kumar, MC Philip, and Jacob Babu lead the production team. Sahil Sharma serves as the Co-Producer, while PS Rafeeque and Lijo Jose Pellissery contribute to the compelling screenplay. The cinematography is handled by Madhu Neelakandan. The movie will grace the silver screen on January 25th, 2024.
