Malaikottai Vaaliban, the highly anticipated film directed by Lijo Jose Pellissery and featuring the super actor Mohanlal, has officially announced its OTT release date. Scheduled to premiere on February 23, the film will be available for streaming on Hotstar, as confirmed by the platform through its social media channels. Initially, there were speculations regarding the release dates, with February 23 and March 1 being circulated; however, the recent announcement brings clarity to the matter.
In anticipation of its digital release, Hotstar has unveiled a special trailer for “Vaaliban,” garnering significant attention not only from the Malayalam audience but also from viewers across other language domains. The multilingual approach of the film, evident in its promotional material available in Malayalam, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada, underscores its aim to appeal to a diverse pan-Indian audience.
Despite initial mixed reactions upon its theatrical release, “Valiban” gradually earned positive reviews, with Mohanlal’s stellar portrayal in the titular role being particularly noteworthy.
