Makers officially announced Lucifer sequel and is titled ‘L2: Empuraan’
Mohanlal starrer movie named Lucifer which was released this year had become the biggest ever hit in Mollywood. It became the first ever Mollywood movie to do 200 crore business and it was directed by none other than the young superstar of Mollywood, Prithviraj Sukumaran.
Now, Mohanlal and Prithviraj had announced that they are all set to do the second part of Lucifer and it has been titled as L- EMPURAAN. It will be written by Murali Gopi and the flick will be produced by Antony Perumbavoor under the banner of Ashirvad Cinemas.
They had released a title video of this sequel as well. The movie will have Prithviraj as well in it playing Zayed Masood. They will start the filming by the second half of next year and the release date of this flick will be announced only after the shoot.
The team behind the movie said that more details of this flick will be revealed in the coming days. Both Mohanlal and Prithviraj is busy with their other projects now. Ittimani Made in China, Marakkar- Lion of the Arabian Sea, Big Brother, etc will be the coming releases of Mohanlal. He will direct his first movie as well this year, which will be a 3D movie scripted by Jijo Navodaya. The title of this film is Barroz in which Mohanlal himself will play the lead.
