Lucifer got an all-time biggest Indian movie release in Saudi Arabia

In the 1980s theaters were closed at Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as film screening was banned there. After long years, the Saudi government decided to lift the ban on cinema and gave permission to screen movies there last year. Mohanlal movies like Odiyan got released there, but they only allowed a few shows there.

Now, Mohanlal creating history in Saudi for Indian Cinema. Lucifer will start screening there, from today and it had got the biggest number of shows this weekend, which is the highest for any Indian films there till now.

Lucifer is the first Malayalam movie to release in Jidha and it will have 50+ shows in Saudi in its first weekend. This is the most numbers of shows got by any Indian film there in its first weekend.

Almost 65 shows started booking there and half of them got sold out as well. There will be a separate screening of the movie for families and bachelors. It will be screened at the Red Sea Mall at Jidha along with Malls in Riyad. The flick had already grossed around 38 crores from Gulf countries and it had made a place in the list of top 10 biggest grossers from India there.
