Lucifer created a new history for Mollywood in IMDB
The Complete Actor is slaughtering all existing box office records in Mollywood with his new release named Lucifer. This Mohanlal starrer directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran and written by Murali Gopi is on the way to the top spot in Mollywood Box Office history and creating unparallel craze all over the world.
Now it has been created a unique record in Internet Movie Data Base (IMDB) for Mollywood. This movie had made a place in the IMDB official list of the top 100 most popular movies in the world. It is for the first time that a Malayalam Movie is getting into the top 100 and Lucifer is at the 93rd spot now. It is just above the world classic movie Shawshank Redemption as well in this list.
Before that, only 3 Malayalam Movies made it to the list of top 1000 and they are Premam, Pulimurugan, and Odiyan. But they failed to make a place in the top 100. Lucifer will soon become the second biggest worldwide grosser in Mollywood and then its box office run will be to surpass Pulimurugan which had grossed around 150 crores globally. Lucifer is doing fabulously well on working days too and the vacation season is making it easy for this mass family entertainer.
