Superstar Mohanlal’s Lucifer enrolls 150 Crore Club in just 21 days
Mohanlal starrer Lucifer had surpassed another milestone in the Box Office, as it had made a place in the 150 crore club. Aashirvad Cinemas had officially declared its entry to 150 crore club today morning. The flick had got a total worldwide gross around 120 crores in 21 days and its total business had now reached 150 crores.
Lucifer is still going strong all over and its Kerala gross had surpassed 60 crores mark in 21 days. The overseas is gross is nearing 50 crore mark and its rest of India gross is 10 crores+. It is now the second biggest worldwide grosser in Mollywood after Pulimurugan. In 2016, Pulimurugan had become the first Malayalam Movie to gross over 100 crores and it ended up grossing over 140 crores in its final run.
Now, Lucifer, which is the second only Malayalam movie to gross over 100 crores from theaters is moving steadily towards Pulimurukan’s final gross. Lucifer had surpassed Pulimurugan all over the world, except Kerala. In Kerala, the final gross of Pulimurugan is 86 crores+ and Lucifer still needs around 25 crores to surpass that figure. Anyway, Mohanlal is sitting unchallenged at the top with two biggest grossing movies of Mollywood in his kitty.
