Lucifer digital rights sets new record, Amazon Prime to stream the movie tomorrow
Mohanlal’s latest blockbuster Lucifer is still doing good is theaters as its global box office figures had gone past 130 crores. As per the latest reports, the flick will have online streaming through Amazon Prime on this coming May 16th.
Amazon Prime had already announced that they are going to stream Lucifer in 3 different languages. The Malayalam, Tamil, and Telugu version of this film will be available with English subtitles on Amazon Prime.
Lucifer had got record rights from Amazon Prime and the flick got 13. 5 crores, an all-time biggest digital right in Mollywood history. Asianet is a satellite partner of this film and its satellite right also is said to be the biggest in M- town. The total business done by this film had gone past 170 crore mark as well.
Lucifer is the debut directorial venture of Prithviraj Sukumaran and it has been bankrolled by Ashirvad Cinemas owned by Antony Perumbavoor. The flick had grossed over 50 crores from the overseas market and around 11 crores from rest of India market. The Kerala gross of the movie is around 70 crores and it is the second biggest worldwide grosser in Mollywood history right behind Mohanlal’s Puli Murukan.
