Lucifer becomes the second Mollywood movie to screen 30000 shows in Kerala
The Complete Actor Mohanlal is continuing with his box office rampage, as his new release named Lucifer is creating records all over. This flick directed by actor Prithviraj Sukumaran is still going great at the box office all over the world. Now, Lucifer had crossed 30K shows from Kerala alone and becomes the second only Malayalam movie to do that.
Mohanlal starrer Pulimurugan tops the list with 41k+ shows from releasing screens here in Kerala. When we consider other language films as well, Baahubali 2 is at the second spot with 36k shows from Kerala. The 4th in this list is Drishyam which had played 26k shows from Kerala and the 5th spot is occupied by Kayamkulam Kochunni which played 24k shows.
4 among the top 5 films have Mohanlal in it and that itself is a tremendous achievement. Lucifer had crossed 10000 shows from Gulf countries and become the first Mollywood movie to do so. It also crossed 5k shows from Rest of India Market and that too is a first-ever achievement for a Mollywood movie.
Now, Lucifer is all set to complete 50k shows worldwide and it will be the second only Mollywood movie to do that, after Pulimurugan. The worldwide gross of Lucifer had gone past 130 crores mark and the total business of the movie is reaching the 170 crores mark.
