I like Mohanlal’s acting more than that of Mammootty’s, says Jagathy Sreekumar!
People always compares Mohanlal and Mammootty here in Kerala. Even though both of them has different styles of acting, people tend to compare and ask the question to everyone they met about who is the best, Mohanlal or Mammootty. Earlier many celebrities stayed away from answering this question. But nowadays, Young Stars like Prithviraj, Tovino Thomas etc opens their mind about all this with clarity. Prithviraj said that he is a hardcore Mohanlal fan and Tovino said that he is a Mammootty fan. One actor who always answered this kind of questions with utmost clarity was Jagathy Sreekumar.
Once in an interaction with media, Jagathy Sreekumar had to face this question from one of the media persons. As an answer to that, Jagathy said that both Mohanlal and Mammootty are great actors but he likes the performance of Mohanlal more than that of Mammootty’s.

Jagathy said that it is wonderful watching Mohanlal performing in front of the camera and Mohanlal is the best ever actor with whom he had shared screen space in his career. But he said that Mammootty will not show any grudge to him if he hears what he says this. Jagathy said that Mammootty is not cheap, to feel a grudge towards him for saying that Mohanlal is the best.
