New Heroine for Nivin Pauly’s Kayamkulam Kochunni; Priya Anand replaced Amala Paul
Kayamkulam Kochunni directing by Roshan Andrews with Nivin Pauly in the lead is now in its filming stage. This movie is the biggest project in Nivin Pauly’s career till now as well. Gokulam Gopalan is bankrolling this project and reports says that the budget of this flick is above 20 crores. Latest on this flick says that the team behind the movie had replaced the female lead.
Amala Paul has been roped in earlier to play the female lead in this flick. But now she has been replaced by another Tamil actress named Priya Anand, who had made her debut in Mollywood through the Prithviraj starrer movie named Ezra this year.
Date clash is the reason behind the replacement of Amala Paul, says director Roshan Andrews. Amala Paul is now on vacation as she had gone on a road trip. Her latest release named Thiruttu Payale 2 with Bobby Sinha is not getting a great response.
Kayamkulam Kochunni has been written by Bobby – Sanjay team and as its title suggests it is based on the life of the legendary thief named Kayamkulam Kochunni. Along with Nivin Pauly, artists like Babu Antony, Sunny Wayne, Sarath Kumar etc also play important characters in this movie. Gopi Sundar is the music director and Bollywood cameraman Binod Pradhaan cranks the camera for this movie.
